Despite the general degeneration of human civilizaiton, I am married to an amazing woman and have an amazing family.

I am in good health.

Despite the fact that the national and global economies are basically in the crapper, I have a secure and stable well-paying job that I enjoy.  I may even be looking at another promotion this year.  As it stands, having my own 19th-floor office with a view of San Diego Bay is pretty awesome.

I now own a scooter for general commuting and leisure. It costs virtually nothing to fuel and insure, and is the most fun mode of transportation I’ve ever experienced.

I’ve stoped using MySpace and moved to Facebook.  It seems way more grown-up and polished.

I’m going to go make some bacon and eggs now, in order to further perfect my already sublime and lazy Saturday morning.  That is all.

Oh, I think I’m going to Paris this summer.  I really can’t complain about anything.

It’s been two years to the day since my already upside-down world was turned a completely different upside-down, possibly defying most conventional laws of geometry.

It hasn’t been the same since, and for that I am extremely grateful.
